Shristi Joshi is a development professional with several years of experience in gender equality, social inclusion, the right to information, and mental health. She has a master's degree in sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru University and a bachelor's from Lady Shri College, New Delhi, India.

Shristi has collaborated with diverse organisations in designing and implementing inclusive projects that empower marginalised communities. As a member of the Inter-Generational Feminist Forum, her expertise lies in mainstreaming gender considerations and fostering social inclusivity. Moreover, she is the founder of Lupus Nepal, a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the diagnosis and treatment of Lupus. She is passionate about raising awareness through Lupus Nepal, advocating for improved healthcare policies, and supporting those affected by this auto-immune disease.

 

Tulasha Khadka holds a Master's degree in Development Studies in 2018 from Purbanchal University, Nepal. Brought up in a northeastern state in India, she returned to her homeland to pursue her university studies, driven by a strong passion for advocating the rights of children and young people.

She specialises in gathering knowledge-based evidence, focusing on sexual exploitation and abuse of children, rigid gender norms, and youth's vulnerabilities to labour migration. Her particular interest lies in protecting adolescents and young women from trafficking. Tulasha actively participated in post-earthquake school reconstruction efforts in 2015. She also raised funds through an online platform to support rebuilding a government school in Nuwakot, demonstrating her commitment to creating a safer environment for vulnerable children.

 

Urussa Joshi holds a Master's degree in Business Studies from Tribhuvan University. She is dedicated to fostering positive change with profound expertise in change management. She had worked as a media person for one decade. Before joining ChildSafeNet, she had worked as a TV anchor at Image Channel and a radio presenter at Image FM. Her articulation and effective communication style is evident in her ability to conduct programmes and produce compelling outreach materials.

Urussa's unique ability to connect with diverse audiences is exemplified by her title as the winner of  "Miss Grand Nepal 2018" and "Miss Nepal – Culture 2016" beauty pageants.

 

Urishna Shakya has over eight years of experience in Nepal's development sector, including in gender equality and the education sectors, with a focus on youth, women, and children. She is a graduate of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's Degree in International Development (GLODEP).

Her expertise lies in programme design, programme management, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of developmental programmes. Earlier, as one of the core members of a youth-based organization, Canopy Nepal, she initiated and led programmes to increase equitable accessibility to quality education for marginalised children across Nepal.

Additionally, she managed a team to promote interactive learning and enhance public and private school students' reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills. She is passionate about raising her voice against caste and gender-based discrimination stemming from Brahminical patriarchy and is an ally to the Dalits and indigenous people.

 

Narad Prasad Adhikari, a resident of Kathmandu, has thirteen years of experience as an administration and finance officer. He had worked earlier with Mandala Theatre Nepal, the Centre for Independent Living of Persons with Disabilities, the National Federation of Youth NGO Nepal, and the Himalayan Human Rights Monitor. He has a Master's degree in business studies from Tribhuvan University. He is pursuing further studies at the Association of Chartered Accountants (ACCA).

 

Sulav Ratna Bajracharya is a changemaker focusing on gender equality, feminism, and sustainability. He is currently pursuing a Master's in Sustainable Development from Kathmandu University. With a rich background spanning the healthcare sector, feminist organisations, and content development, Sulav is committed to fostering intersectionality and engaging in constructive dialogues on social issues.

Beyond his academic and professional pursuits, Sulav channels his passion into writing and crafting impactful content for social media. Through his expertise, Sulav endeavours to create safe spaces and amplify the voices of children and marginalised communities.
